QuickLoad is a powerful ballistic application that provides you with information for more than 1200 cartridges, 250 powders and 2500 bullets.
Quickload is a great program, but it has had the field to itself for two decades and now it is dated. You can only buy it on a CD and most computers these days don't even have a CD drive. You have to pay 150 bucks for it and there are two other internal ballistic simulators which are just as good and (as noted below) are free! P-Max in particular is online so there are no operating system problems. Works on anything that has a browser, and anywhere you can get on the Internet. It is time QL had a 21st century facelift.
QuickLoad is a great program, but why is it only available on a CD? Why do you even have to pay for it? For two decades it was unchallenged on the market, but now there there are two free internal ballistics simulators which do the job just as well. As commented below one of them, P-Max, can even be used on online. So no problems with instability or operating system incompatibility. Save the $150 for some reloading equipment...
Two new simulator programs out now, GRT and P-Max. Both are free and P-Max is even online. Both are at least as good a QL.
